Peak above pond near Sheep Lake lit by moon light
This shot was taken under circumstances you will not believe. This was shot at 3:00am up in the Seven Devils mountain range in Idaho. The key was the almost full moon over my right shoulder. It lit the mountain and lake up like it was daylight. The difference is that you can clearly see stars in the sky. For inquiring minds, this was a 30 second exposure, ISO 800, F2.8 at 15mm. The water so still, and everything was so quiet. Shortly after this shot I went back to my tent and drifted back off to sleep.
