A recent trip into the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho was highlighted by one night with a full moon. I waited until after sundown and skied into Little Redfish lake. I was a little early so I waited for the moon to rise. I knew it was rise a little south and of course from the east, giving good side lighting to this range. Really by moon light it does not look too much different, except there are lots of stars in the sky. If you look closely you will find a falling start that just happened during the exposure.
