First winter morning light on mount Heyburn

My first trip into Redfish lake was preceded with a 5 mile cross-country sky trip through the dark of night, in coldest park of the day. All was quiet, all was still, and all was cold. Standing alone in the wilderness waiting for the first signs of daylight. Then finally the sun began to lick the tops of the highest peaks in the Sawtooth range. Mount Heyburn reflects in the still open water of Redfish Lake.
