Williams Peak Sawtooths in the winter with snow and small pine trees
My last morning in Stanley I was expecting snow, well, because that is what the weather forecasters told me. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a fine morning. I found this spot at the base of Williams Peak in the Sawtooth mountains, where there were lots of pine trees jus total weighed down with snow on their bows. Chevy Chase would have gone crazy in this place because of all of the over sized Christmas tree choices. It was a good place to spend my last house with these magnificent mountains.
