Dramatic sunrise over Little Redfish Lake Idaho

This is little redfish Lake with the Sawtooth mountains as a backdrop. It is called Redfish because of the salmon run that returns from the ocean. They turn the creeks red and find this lake to spawn. We did not see any salmon on this morning, but we did see some salmon colored clouds. A fresh snow blanketed the mountains just a few days prior. Just before sunrise, the still air of morning was broken by an elk's bugle. Best morning ever on these shores
