Fairy Falls steam below and over log
Just got back from an Autumn trip to the Columbia River Gorge. It has been a few years since I have been there. Autumn is my favorite time of year for the Gorge.
This shot is of a log just below Fairy Falls on Wahkeena creek. I see a lot of shots taken of these very iconic water falls. I tried to get at least a few shots that are somewhat unique. This is one. I saw the yellow leaves on right side of the log, that is what caught my attention. I set my shutter at 2 seconds, this was to get adequate motion in the water. Kind of funny, just out of the field of view is another photographer shooting Fairy Falls. This is the first of 1700 images I took over my 3 day trip there.
