Vista House along the Columbia river in the fall
After spending several days taking picture of waterfalls in Columbia River Gorge, we saw that the clouds were beginning to break up. So we took the 10 min drive to Vista house and then over to Rooster Rock Road hoping that we would see some of the colors of sunset. Mother nature did not disappoint. While the Vista house is a nice place to visit, I think that Rooster Rock is the best place to get a view of the Vista House. We waited until after sundown to see if they would turn the lights on for us, they did not. Oh well.
I was standing at an overlook on Rooster Rock Road using a 100mm lens on a tripod. I took 110 pictures as the sun sat, and this was my favorite out of the series.
