Small creek in the fall with yellow leaf
Sometimes amongst all of the nature that surrounds you, it is nice to stop and take a closer look. That is exactly what I did with this shot. It was taken along Eagle creek, which is such a majestic place in itself. Every turn of the creek there is something new. In this image I chose to focus on just on a single leaf and a couple of rocks in the stream. If you look close you can see the small lines in the wafer that make the current. This is a 1 second exposure. The linger exposure gives the water that soft look of motion. I also used a Polarizing filter to help richen the colors as well as reduce glare on the wafer so you can see the river gravels below.
