Autumn Poplar farm forest
Last fall I had the opportunity to spend some time at a tree farm in Oregon. So many trees, all in rows, and all the same size. If you have never been in one of these tree farms you will know that the trees are all planted in perfectly straight rows, everywhere you look all you see is rows of trees. Well if you get in just the right spot you are able to distort those rows and provide more of a random appearance to where each tree lives.
I shot this image with image with a slight telephoto lens, 85mm to try and flatten the scene some. Because of the lens I used I reduced my depth of focus, so I did a 6 image focus stack to insure that every tree is in perfect focus. Did I miss any? look close.
