Sunrise over the rocky ridgeline in Leslie Gulch Oregon

A conversation we were having in the truck as we are in Leslie Gulch looking for that over the top composition was around this sunrise. We were in full sunlight at the time, and we saw a place where there was a rocky peak where in the shadows, where the sun had not risen yet. We drove to the spot, scrambled around a bit to find the right foreground elements to go with the vision of a sun star. And after all of that, here is what I came up with. WOW, I am out of breath!
