Star trail in the Pahsimeroi River valley
This is a picture showing our planet as it spins through the universe. I took this from my camp on the East for of the Pahsimeroi. It is a one hour single exposure. That is the north star in the middle. With such a long exposure there is enough ambient light to light the near by ridges. The nights are so peaceful on the Pahsimeroi, as I look at this image, I can feel the quiet cold breeze as it blows through the trees.
