Frosty and fogy Barn at Roseberry
The little town of Roseberry near Donnelly Idaho is the home of one of my favorite barns. I have taken so many pictures of this same barn at all different times of the day, year, and seasons. This particular images was taken end of December. It was a very foggy morning and I had to wait for some of the fog to lift before I could get this shot. The problem I was faced with was I wanted to use a telephoto lens to help increase the size of the willow in relation to the barn. Because of this I have to back away from the barn, this compounds the little fog there was still in the air and will diffuse the image. However, because there had been a lot of fog in the air, it coated the tree with rim frost. I placed the tree behind the barn to kind of feather the contrast to the flat colored sky.
