I have taken a trips into the foothills over Boise to try and capture a full moon over the city. I have shot these before, a lot depends on the lens focal length to increase the size of the moon. This was shot with a 85mm lens, so I did not get the huge moon one might get if you were to shoot with a 500mm. Although the mon is tiny, if becomes a picture of Boise with a moon, rather a picture of a full moon with Boise, if that makes sense.
