Circle of autumn trees circle a public park at the base of Luck Peak dam
I went to a familiar spot Thursday for lunch. The fall colors had matured a little more from the week prior. The fountain was still spraying in the swimming hole, but there were no swimmers, maybe because it was Thursday, but mostly because it was cold. I never paid much attention to this little park in years past, but it is hard to ignore when it is bloomed with the colors of fall.
